Trade with I adore her squid character ^^ She's supposed to be running and that's supposed to be the ocean behind her x3 really need to work on my scenery/running poses though.

View her end of our trade, here: [link] I requested that she do anthro versions of my favorite ocean-dwelling creature, the giant isopod. (Google it!) They are beautiful creatures and she did an amazing job don't you think? ^^

SQUIDSQUIDSQUID =DDD :w00t: I LUVE squids. the running pose is a bit wierd, her left leg is at an odd angle for the pose. But better than I could do ;) I suck at running poses too... the tentacles are mah favorite part, and the scenery looks very nice.

If everyone had some form of contact with a squid each day the world would be a happier place! :D

I think although you've captured the movent extremely well, her feet seem a bit off to me. If her left foot wasn't going off at such a sharp angle, although I can see she's kind of turning a corner then I think it'd be alright. A very awesome sense of foreshortening, particuarly on the arms otherwise. and well done on the grass! It's almost photo-realistic, I think! but if you reckon you still need to work on scenery then I guess it can only get better :o

yeah the legs are far too exaggerated. It's bugs me every time I look at it so I'm sure I'll try and fix it in the future x3

Well, I shall say that both aquatic anthros are VERY nicely done, and really rare to boot. I mean the only "anthro" I can think of in such a nature are the Zora race from the Zelda series... namely Ruto. Thus, the fact you took a non-invertabrate animal (which is a first frankly) and made her into a rather cute anthromorphic form really says something. I think the colors are a stellar choice for the normal skin tone, but I wonder if she can change that color like most squid can. Hmmm? :) The background is pretty good so don't worry yourself on that too much, you should be proud you pulled off a succesful adaptation of another's highly unique character!

First off, the giant isopod looks like a cicada or locust or something. Except ocean adapted. Very strange, yet cool lookin'.

Second off, that is the cutest damn squid I've ever seen. The background isn't that bad, it compliments the character nicely.

The picture is perfect until you reach the knees. The right leg is ok by itself, but the other one is too exagerated in its pose, but I have to admit that the hips and arms, give a very good feeling of movement,it's very realistic and convincing.the background is awesome too, without a doubt, the colours are correctly chosen for a beach, and speaking about beaches I think you shoudl have added a little more definition to the last part of the beachbefore it blends with the sea.The character is great by herself and her facial expression is adorable.
